Snow Valley is a vibrant and friendly e-commerce agency based in bright offices close to Covent Garden. We are an award-winning developer of web solutions for top retailers such as Clarks Shoes, Liverpool FC, Majestic Wine and Astley Clarke.

Our superb creative team is expanding and we are on the look-out for an experienced Web Designer to help design and deliver cutting edge e-commerce sites that will win awards.

As senior designer in the experience team, specific responsibilities include:

·Create exceptional visual designs for top high-street brands.

·Work alongside the Creative Director as design lead within the experience team

·Bring creative insights into our clients and their customer’s needs

·Lead the visual design process for all major projects

·Involve and mentor junior members of the experience team

·Work with the Creative Director to constantly improve the creative process

·Assist in pitches and idea generation for new projects

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes

·An eye-popping portfolio of commercial web design

·An exceptional eye for layout, typography and colour

·A passion for user-centred web design and e-commerce

·A minimum 3 years’ experience working in web design

·Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Creative Suite

·Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and front-end web development skills

·A solid understanding of User-Centred Design, Information Architecture Interaction Design

Ideally you will also have the following:

·A real interest in interactive design using Javascript, including JQuery or similar

·Experience with version control, .Net or other enterprise development workflows

·A degree in graphic design, multimedia or related subject
